Flyer fans can’t stand waiting. I think you are right. Hexy will move small and everybody will be screaming for his job.

People got to step back and see what is really going on here. We are young. Prospect pool is solid. We have two 1st round picks. Cap space is way improved. Dead weight will be shedding over the next two years. Big moves are coming. Just not time yet.

I agree completely. In LA where Hextall apprenticed, the fans were screaming for Lombardi's head because he wouldn't make any moves. They lost patience and I think the same thing will happen here. The idea is not just to make moves, but to make the right moves and that takes patience. Why spend big money to fill holes when you're not even sure what the holes will be when the team is actually ready to move towards contention.

Love Bill on this blog. He is well informed. Another Bill I got to talk with once at my son’s hockey banquet was Clement. Could tell right away that his hockey IQ was elite. And he loved what Hexy was doing. This was a year ago but he was pretty on point as to where the Flyers are right now and was calling for a change of game plan in 19-20.
