I agree completely. In LA where Hextall apprenticed, the fans were screaming for Lombardi's head because he wouldn't make any moves. They lost patience and I think the same thing will happen here. The idea is not just to make moves, but to make the right moves and that takes patience. Why spend big money to fill holes when you're not even sure what the holes will be when the team is actually ready to move towards contention. - MJL
But the moves Lombardi did make were pretty awesome! Mike Richards, Jeff Carter, Simon Gagne, Justin Williams, Dustin Penner, Marion Gaborik...
Vincent LeCavalier, Jerome Iginla, Dion Phaneuf and Lucic were yesterday's news were yesterday's news when they were brought there but can't fault them for trying. |

My friend, who recently got into it and is aight, said he loves the competitive potential of the game with the building. I do feel like it's a game that grows on you as you learn the mechanics. I just feel like a doofus trying to build and fight.
And I've been carried the few times I played too lol. Or I just hide and scavenge. But he told me to get more aggressive or I'll never git gooooood. |

i cannot build for poop lol
some of the things that PC users can pull off are ridiculous and i like seeing that. i've never really been in to the Battle Royale style of game. i like 4v4/6v6 PVP and as long as i can get a sniper in my hands i'm happy |

The best thing I can say about Fortnite is that it is pretty good... for a free game. |

Wow, Wilson gets 3.
Next time Marchand does something they may sit him for a whole period. - MBFlyerfan
Just watched the DOPS video on NHL.com
It's a pretty brutal hit and tbh I am surprised he didnt get more than 3 games. |

I don't think he should've been suspended at all. They got this one wrong. Yes, I did watch the video. This is a simple case of the suspension being based on who the player making the hit was. Wilson has earned that reputation but that shouldn't make a good hit a bad hit. If another player had made that hit, I doubt that a suspension would've been levied. |

From the bench side view he hits him in the head .
THe problem is, hockey is a fast game and us here with slowmo can see that not so much players skating around the rink. |

Sorry but I don't agree. The bench side view still shows that the principal point of contact was the shoulder and not the head. The narrator in the video also says that Aston-Reese's head snaps back independent of his body making it consistent with a head shot. That's false according to their own video. It was a good hit in my opinion. There are some things that I don't like about the hit, but that's a different conversation.
The DOPS can't get obvious foot slews and other infractions right and then their own video disproves them when they do suspend a player. |

Lombardi made plenty of moves. Fans were calling for his head because the team sucked and didn't make the playoffs.

at a certain point enough is enough with the same player consistently having enough hits in the head area. |

A lot of the guys you listed in the first set of players weren't acquired until the Kings were ready to compete. Penner was acquired at the trade deadline the season before they won the cup. Richards was acquired the off season before they won the cup, Gagne was signed in the off season before they won the cup. Carter was acquired at the deadline the year the won the cup.
Seems like the same script Hextall is following. When he thinks they're ready he will add the pieces he feels that will put them over the top.
I just pray it works. |

I'm torn on this one. This wasn't Matt Cooke on Marc Savard or Steve Downie on Dean McAmmond but you're right and I think Tom Wilson is a Richard. I just don't see this as he was targeting the head. At worst, I guess you can say he didn't do enough to avoid the head. |

To be fair, the native Americans would have died either way from disease. At some point they were going to come into contact with Europeans and then almost all of them would die regardless.
It’s sad but it’s happened throughout our history. |

People keep posting about video games that I have never heard about, but then again, my first and last video game was Pong on Atari. I won't complain because when Pong came out the Flyers went to the Stanley Cup three years in a row 74, 75 and 76 and won the Cup in '74 and '75. |
