I listened to his coach on GR today. I couldn't be more excited. It's even better because I never allowed myself to believe it would happen. It's funny how that single event makes every other Sabres problem seem easier

I’ve been trying to convince myself he’s as good as I keep hearing..... it’s so awesome, can’t wait to see him play here. I watched most of his world jr. games he was amazing there.

I'll add a bit more hype: a lot of people in the know are saying if he were Canadian, he would be getting even more hype. We're in for a good one.

A lot of the stuff I watched, and what his coach said too, is that he has the ability to lay huge hits (which I've seen), but his focus has been more on positional play, and he hasn't tried for the big ones so much in the past year. His coach said once he's fully grown into his body, there will be even more physical play. This kid is the real deal

What team in the NHL has Eichel and Dahlin? No one.

Botts still has to improve the defense. Can't go into next year with Beaulieu, McCabe and Bogo in the top 6-7. Also our top 9 is just terrible.

With the addition of Dahlin, I see Rick calling games for a few more years, in a decreasing number of games per year.
He continues to ease himself out.

Total nonsense? Counting on a guy who plays 20 games I would say you don't really follow the sabres. McCabe completely regressed and had a terrible season.
