Does Malkin not push Holtby's blocker and the puck over the line? That's a no-no, but not sure it's a challengeable play, because I don't think that's interference. |

Barry Trotz is the guy that issued a challenge during the All-Star game. He does it for the sake of doing it. |

I genuinely think he did it just to hear Wes McCauley's announcement |

He legit laughed as they announced the challenge.
IMO the first Pens goal was offside and he should have challenged that. |

Yea I know, why are you telling me all this. I only mentioned that Eichel has had 15 and with all the jerseys printed it may be hard to change, I also know what number Eichel was wearing and also that Kobe changed his number also. I remember what Satan did also. - SABRES 89
I'm saying that they don't have a ton of jerseys just sitting around, they don't make that many at one time, so it wouldn't be hard. They'd have some, sure, but it's the cost of doing business to either change them, or send them to Mozambique with all the Bills Super Bowl winners hats and shirts. |

I only saw one angle at first; when I saw another I saw that that wasn't the case that he pushed the blocker and the puck over. |

Because people pretend that he never lost a playoff game, while simultaneously criticizing Lebron for making it all the way to the finals and losing to dynasty teams.
His first finals loss in Miami is one that looks bad . They should have won and he wasn’t all-world. - sbroads24
One thing that rarely seems to get consideration is that the Jordan won 6 titles, and in every final his team was the superior team. That is, he should have won all those titles.
With LeBron, he's been to 8 finals, and I would say he was on the inferior team in 5 of them ('07, '14, '15, '16, '17). He won in '16 anyway. I think he probably wins in '15 if Love and Kyrie aren't hurt given that LeBron pretty much took the series to 6 games by himself, but thems the breaks. Dallas ('11) is the only team he's lost to in the finals where his was the better team.
538 ran an interesting analysis of this back in 2016 Playoffs but before LeBron's won the title. I thought this quote from that article was pretty interesting: On the other hand, if the Cavs upset the Warriors – which would be the second-biggest upset by any MVP on this list — LeBron will actually have 0.4 more titles than expected, and his three titles in seven finals appearances would have been harder to achieve than Kobe’s five titles in the same number of trips.
All that being said, I don't know if I think LeBron is the GOAT, but it's probably a conversation worth having. It's just really hard to compare different eras. However, I do think pointing to his record in the finals is a bad argument, not only for the reasons stated above, but also because it seems silly to penalize a player for taking his team to the NBA finals 7 times in a row and one other time on a terrible team. |

The last paragraph...agree completely. I hate the titles argument. It’s also silly to say he was part of a “super team” in Miami. Wade and Lebron are all time greats, but Bosh wasn’t, and they never had great role players outside of Allen at times.
The teams that beat him have either had dynasties, or 4 top 15 players like GS |
