I think anyone on here would give their left nut for Doughty. And yes it would cost a crap ton to acquire him. I think the problem would be that we're taking more steps backwards by how much we'd have to give up.

Keep in mind if JT walks and Lee is traded... we're losing almost 80 goals. I would think it's a better idea to acquire legitimate top 4 dmen at a lesser cost than going out and acquiring a huge superstar dman. If the isles ever do want to go on a cup run... they're going to need some sort of depth. We'd be giving up a whole lot of depth for 1 guy.
