If they moved Snow to a position of no power at all I would be fine with that. Let him clean the facking toilets for all I care - Vukota
I would be fine with this as well. |

I would agree with this if they hire a nobody but if they hire somebody with cred like Lou I don't see how that would still happen. Nobody with experience would work with Snow - Vukota
There is no justifiable reason to keep him on the payroll, in any role. It's insulting. If they are going to truly move him out of a job where he has any sort of hand in hockey operations...why the f uck would they even bother keeping him around? They gotta pay him either way, may as well get rid of the problem entirely. |

Nope, fuck him. No more compromising. - eichiefs9
Would be very sweet Garth having a front row seat seeing the next GM turn the Isles around when he was a total failure. |

I agree 100% but its the isles and to be honest it would be better then the situation now is all I'm saying. I don't see them outright firing him unless JT walks and they have no choice |

I'm just out of patience. You're right, it will be a better situation. But I still don't, personally, find it to be an acceptable one. |

Of course not. It's a joke but lets be honest you'll tune in if this situation we are talking about actually happens |

L and M absolutely care about the on ice product.
Their New Arena in Belmont is great but they want it full especially when their Hockey team is playing there 41 nights out of the year. It means a lot more money for them.
Also when your team is in the POs there’s a ton of extra money to be made especially when you own the Arena. - nyisles7
That remains to be seen. So far they certainly don't and at this point neither do I. |

Like I said I don't care if he still has a job there as long as it has nothing to do with the Hockey ops. You really care if he is running the Jr. Islanders travel teams? - Vukota

L&M don't give a shit about the fans. It's a money grab. Everyone was thinking that Ledecky didn't answer questions because he was pissed at Snow. He didn't want to answer questions because he didn't want to have any feedback from reporters that might have asked about or reflect the feelings of the fans. He doesn't want to deal with that. He's got his head in the sand and he's all set. Snow is his GM, and that's that. - Isleshockeyman
I don't want to but I agree. |

More and more I'm being convinced of a theory I heard that Wang gave Snow a "no fire" clause and that's why they can't can him. (And somehow Ledecky and Malkin agreed to this) It's all bizarre, and par for the course with this franchise, but, I mean, what else could this be? - Mancalledsting
That definately makes sense when you consider Ledecky's behavior at the press conference. I'll bet that after listening to those two boobs acting so smug about their status that he became pissed off because he knew there wasn't a facking thing he could do about it. |

There is no such thing as a "no fire" clause. He could be guaranteed the money, but they could fire him if they wanted to. |

Or do what they did to George Costanza and make it impossible for him to get into his office. |

We shouldn't let him leave his house. |
