Negative. Not at all. Back peddling is the night you told everyone you were the owner of a giant company and challenged me to a hockey match then denied it and called yourself an uber driver. Now that was back peddling. |

I appreciate when you post articles, cause i read them, but man this is like the 5th article I’ve read that says the same thing. It makes sense.....we get it. What’s the hold up.
One thing i Read that echos to me was the last line “But Lamoriello is not known for being sentimental in his hockey-related decisions.” |

Lamoriello, is known to be close with Isles GM Garth Snow and it is believed they could co-exist as front office teammates.
Certainly has that Snow will have zero input feel to it. Let's make believe things like this aren't being said... |

According to B.D. its because Malkin is in Europe. Apparently he needs to book passage on a Clipper Ship and sail across the Atlantic before any deal can be made. |

It's crazy Cpt but I have no fear in Garth causing trouble for Lou. Lou is a legend and can handle himself. Someone with very little experience and I would be very concerned. I remember many thought Milbury would end up causing trouble when he stayed on. Isles are due and I think this will work out. |

I’m not on Twitter.....well i am but i don’t use it. But people post some of the stuff Gallof says and it’s nauseating. I don’t know who he thinks he’s fooling. I love how it’s 12 years later and he’s trying to play this devils advocate role, while this is such an obvious sh1t show. He’s a whore....and a fat one too. Nobody likes a fat whore.. |

I agree with you but I'm reading any article on Lou right now. I love that Lou is not sentimental. If Lou's son gets in the way Lou will fire him.

He's not going to cause trouble it seems pretty clear they'll be working together if he's hired. That's not complete control. If Weight's still here that's a clear indicator of it. What GM or president would come on and keep weight? Never haooen not in a million years. What poh would come on and keep either? None. It's common sense. |

They can say anything Cpt, but it does not mean Garth has any say at all. Lou will tell Garth Thanks for your input now here is a cookie and go away. I agree Weight should be fired if Lou is in charge and that would be troubling if Weight stays on. I'm going to let this play out first and see what happens. We will know right away if anything has changed. |

You know what’s funny to me, if they hire Lou he basically has final say. So essentially he’s the GM and Snow is the assistant GM. Which btw took 12 years to realize Snow shoulda been an assistant and not running an organization with ZERO experience. |

Yes, I’m assuming, but I’m also going on what’s written in Newsday which i have to believe has more credibility than say BD Gallof.
“So, the odds are, if Lamoriello does come to the Islanders, it will be with some kind of guarantee he can begin to re-mold the franchise in his image. Which is not to say Lamoriello cannot work with others because Shanahan was the clear boss in Toronto.
But Lamoriello would likely want to be the final voice on personnel decisions, players or otherwise.“ |

This is the thing that bothers me. If that's the case then why keep Garth at all? Unless he's in a dunk booth raising funds for charity then there is no reason to have him involved at all. It makes no sense to me! |

For all we know he has a contract from Wang whereby if he’s fired in xyz time the team is liable. |
