I'm serious about Bettman though. He is the commissioner of the NHL and again you have an NY dynasty team that you loved being run like this. Get off your A$$ and tell those two dopes to bring in real hockey people. Take a page out of Pete Rozelle book who told the Giants to hire George Young.

-- It's still about $ -- Sorokin makes a lot of it in the KHL and doesn't want to play on a 2-year ELC.

-- Sorokin's US-based agent was Snow's agent. Would be an odd way to show he dislikes GS.

And there's Staples non-committal "I'm not denying the report but I'm denying the report" tweet, as expected
