When I say didn't "particularly love him" it was more in assessing him at a potential 4-5 type pick where he was projecting at the time (and may still project). Didn't see him as an true impact player to justify a Top 5 pick. - Pete V
I also like you and others could never see him as a top 5 pick. But to drop possibly below the top 10 on some rankings is worrisome in part due likely to that concussion he recently suffered, and worse if he had some sort of prior history at some earlier point. |

I believe the concussion he suffered was his second this season. Or at least just his second, in total. No clue if there have been more in the past, diagnosed or not. |

No more high scorers from the Q..
In hindsight that trade really just didn't work for anyone. Weirdest thing was Yandle was at his best for awhile paired with McIlrath - mdw7413

That’s the series I almost caught a puck. Yes, I actually stuck my hand out to try a grab a puck going 80 mph. Like I’d even catch the damn thing, let alone break my hand and it did graze my fingers. Dooooooofus |

The year is 2049, the Rangers acquire Jaromebot Cyborginla at the trade deadline. A dying Tom Burton lays in his private hospice-pod circling Mars and sheds a single tear as he watches Cyborginla tie game 7 with 15 seconds remaining in regulation. The sound of Tom flat-lining coincides with the buzzer at the Garden and he dies never knowing how the Rangers fared in the series.
