Np, I admit if he was still in charge (along with others from years ago) I'd be sour on the idea.

But the changes they've made over the years has already yielded better results than before.

Less McCabes and Foligno's (who you can find in FA/trade all the time) and more Guhle's , Olofsson's and Weissbach's (jury's still out on them but the results are impressive so far).

I get that even still it's a long shot, but in my mind it's long shot vs no shot re: ROR. But that's mostly because of my evaluation of ROR, not the idea that a first round pick is guaranteed success

If we're lucky, we might get pick #10-15 for ROR, yay. I'm sure we won't choose Girgensons/Grigorenko/Ennis/Zagrapan there this time!

That one would be great to pan out. GR interviewed Dahlin's coach and he said Olofsson is a legit sniper. they put him on the PP to be a sniper, and the coach said he didn't disappoint. It would feel great to hit on a pick beyond the 2nd round. Foligno, Gaustad and Miller are our only recent ones. A 7th rounder developing into a real player would be huge
