I suppose Beaulieu was a worthy gamble at the time. The team desperately needed blue line help. But this particular gamble went bust and I see no reason to keep him around when other, younger and more promising defensemen have emerged.

the only one in that regard, other than the obvious one in dahlin, is guhle...buffalo's d-pipeline is at least a year or two away and that's being a bit generous, imo

Just watching Dahlin is probably going to be worth keeping them, watching jack, Casey, and Dahlin should at least make it entertaining again.

Sell your Montreal and Toronto games to their fans. What they will overpay for those games will almost let you break even. - sabreadvocate1
That's only when both teams are good. When the games aren't selling out, even when they come here, which has been the case over the past couple of years, that demand goes down.
