Me thinks they hold off on signing anyone until he either resigns or tells them to (frank) off

zero. He was moved because he contract does not justify his negative effect towards the culture they're trying to instill, plus his inability to play in his own zone.

Ya looking at it we prob would need to add another piece. Hamilton would be a great addition to top 4 though. Has great analytics and looks good whenever I see him play. Bennett I don’t think will ever be amazing but if ROR is destined to be our #3 I rather save money and have Bennett do it. I’ll want jack and middkestat on the ice as much as possible

Hamilton would be an excellent add next to Dahlin. But I'm not giving up Scandella to get him, unless Botts has a plan to replace him with a 2nd pair dman.

The official answer from Botts was that it was his and his staff's decision to not extend an offer to Kane.
