Dahlin said he has the best shot he's ever seen
- gerbe75pts

Most of his goals have a short wind-up slap, or a wrister in tight to his body which bodes well for translating his game to the smaller ice

And they aren't fluky goals. He's picking a corner every time

Maybe he makes the 3rd line next year and moves up
But really there is zero competition for him if he's that good against men already he should beat half the bums on the team

What are the Buffalo Bills getting in Josh Allen? This analysis includes a comparison to Derek Zoolander not being an ambiturner until he unveiled Magnum!

Beyond that, there's actually an interesting analysis of the accuracy issue that tries to account for his receivers, o-line, and team not being good. I haven't finished yet because work, but the author also starts getting into the mechanical issues Allen needs to work on. It's a pretty good analysis from what I've read so far.

It’s a good read, nothing more than has already been revealed in other analyst reports, but it is solid. Basically he needs to refine his footwork and to learn how to process the game faster and more accurately.
Once again, I hope the Bills invest adequately in the right people to properly develop him.
He could be awesome with the proper development resources and time.

I saw that I'm still pissed it's basically a second round pick we gave them

The round I hate moving picks in is the 3rd and the Sabres have been doing it for years

I assume he'll be in the minors for at least a year, maybe 2. We're finally building back the organizational depth. Let him learn in the A

That Minnesota 4th round pick should be #116.

We should be picking: 1, 32, 93, 116, 124, 155, 186

Here's the Olofsson highlight package for those who haven't seen.

He is definitely a sniper:

I like it. The shots through traffic were impressive, he shoots with his head up and uses defenders as screens well. Couple of those sharp angle shots were nasty.

Scandella is better than the vast majority of players picked in the 3rd round, and we rarely hit on guys past the second anyway

Seems Pach must be struggling with the final season wrap up on a couple of the scrubs remaining...
I can help.

"Tom Brady was a 6th round pick!!"

I'm just saying Marco Scandella is statistically gonna be better than whoever we would have picked there.

I do think a #2, stay at home Dman for 2 - 3 years to pair with Dahlin would be a wise acquisition....somebody for him to lean on, learn from while he further develops his game.
Allows Risto to play on 2nd pairing which hopefully benefits his game.

Not sure which side yet though.

Keep in mind that he's 22, same age as Bailey, Baptiste, and Fasching. He's waiver exempt, so it's likely he starts in Rochester. He's got a chance to beat out those three and force a move. It's time for those guys to show they belong or get overtaken by the next wave of prospects.
