You'll be disappointed. We need someone to tell us if a 3rd round pick is in fact a 3rd round pick
- TheSabresTaco

a early third round pick is basically a second

Wait all of you said it was when we moved Tyler but I’m wrong

a late 2nd is a 3rd

a early 4th is a 3rd

the only 3rd rounders that are actualyl 3rd rounders are picks 12-18 the rest are early or late therefore 2nd or 4ths

this is quite easy folks

Dundon: I’ve come to the conclusion that strategy is pretty overrated. I don’t believe the strategy differences are as important as getting the right culture and the right attitude. I think he gives us the best chance of getting the most out of our players.

I think he is more right than wrong.
I'm presenting the Sabres as evidence, and supported by LV Knights case closed.
Individual players in a team game, who don't buy in to any strategy (system) will cause said strategy to fail.
However, when all buy in and go all out --- well, there is success.

I can't wait til a GM works a trade and commits to sending a 2nd round pick .... then faxes in pick 63.

An early 3rd is a conditional 2nd, the condition being that it's in the third round

Ok why would teams ask for the browns 3rd pick and not ours ?

Because you will get 2nd round ranked player

Clearly, no, because he would have gone in the 3rd round, at the 63 pick. So that would make him a third round player, picked in the 3rd round, after every team as picked twice(unless they traded their picks).

Look at the first pick of the third round, and then pick a random 3rd, say 38. There's no difference. I just showed you what first overall in the third round looks like for the past 17 years. 1 good player. You might actually get better players later, just by accident at 34 or 42

That’s like telling me if your a gm you would rather have a teams late 3rd rounder then a early one

And I know that’s no true

this is soooooo lame

if you have pick 62, last pick in the second rd, odds are there will be 31 picks before you make another selection

team really likes a d man, ranked 65th on the board

there is also a winger ranked 56th on the board

the team needs D depth so they pick the guy ranked 65th WITH THEIR LAST PICK IN THE SECOND RD

the 56th ranked player with a late second rd grade thus goes in the 3rd rd

Movie is going to be a 6.5 /10

Which is basically a 7 so a 70/% out of the 100

Which is ok

I'm saying statistically, 17 years of history shows that this pick you covet above all others in the 3rd round - which you consider to be a second - is in itself equal to about a 7th rounder.

A 3rd is a 3rd

Lamar Jackson was passed over by almost all teams in the 1st rd, including Baltimore once

Baltimore traded up to pick 32 to get Lamar Jackson

Austin Corbett went first pick in the second rd

pretty sure most of the 32 teams in the nfl would rather have corbett on their roster than jackson

but please continute
