I hereby commence the ongoing semantics debate!

Two assists for Noah Dobson last night as Acadia-Bathurst took a 2-1 lead in their QMJHL final matchup.
He has 8 points in his last 7 games and is up to 12 points (2+10) in 17 post-season contests overall. #2018NHLDraft

I don’t think this team needs any more ridicule than any other team. If these boards are any indication of fans perception then every damn team here is fcuking up somehow, their GM’s are being questioned and torn apart the same as here. I just cleaned up a post where some Pens fans are calling for Sheary head, b2b Stanley Cups and not good enough...
The only difference is you (collective you) are passionate about the Canucks and anything that is tried is under a microscope, and subject to media scrutiny that leads to stupid Botchford or Brown goes down articles. - Makita
Yes and no. The canuck franchise as a whole has been poorly managed throughout it's history. Drafting has been absolutely abysmal, so bad it's a statistical outlier. Owners have been either too involved or not involved at all. Recently, GMs have been either blowhards or mumbling fools. Etc etc...
The on-ice product has been surprisingly good over the years considering the insanity that goes on off the ice.
The Vancouver Canucks are a unique entity within the NHL. |

We'll see. This off season is one of the more important one's in recent memory. Lots of room & time to royally f*ck things up. I don't trust this management group and the coach is smug and condescending. |

What in the (frank) is your definition of blue chip? Guaranteed top line or top pairing D? How many teams have more than one blue chip? He is a safe bet to be a top 4 and he is 19. That’s blue chip my friend 🤬 - CanuckDon
No need to get upset sir. Just an opinion. As yours as well.
I sure hope he turns out. Looking back at the Bob Father's final draft ranking, he did have him as the #1 ranked D man. "Jack of all" type of D.
Blue chip players are those who have proven themselves to be among the best at their positions in their respective sports and are more sought after and wanted than other players.[1] They are typically perceived as "can't miss" prospects[2] who are desired by most organizations. Blue chip athletes are likely to have an immediate impact on teams that acquire them[2] and have proven skills rather than speculative or untapped potential. Many top recruits eventually go on to be successful at the professional level, especially in basketball and baseball.
In my opinion.... just opinion....OJ has question marks with his game. I don't see him as Blue Chip. |

Tanev can avoid injuries if when the other team approaches our zone he skates to the bench |
