no research was needed though.. he said he is the best to enter the draft since potvin..

he didn't know who potvin was therefore he is old therefore he is better than anyone i would know therefore he is better than doughty.

through simple word math he said he is better than doughty was entering the draft.. people just need to read, comprehend and THINK

Granted that whole situation was different, but just because some team offers him 12MM per year doesn't mean he goes there.

If I were GM, I offer 70/7 and if he takes it great, if not, move on.

If our children put 4 nowadays they are marked incorrect.

But they do get awards for coming in last place so math doesn't matter anymore.

id rate the chances of us landing tavares around 0...maybe 1 or 2% if we offer the biggest deal.

Should probably focus on the other half dozen or so things they need to do.

i have seen it.. i looked at it for about 15 seconds and figured out one of my nephews issues with what he was working on (i am a civil engineer i have most likely done much higher levels of math than you know about)...

but what does that have to do with simple if then math problems that you can't figure out?

I don't get it. Also, I'm part of this "participation trophy" generation. My hockey teams usually gave out something like a little brass skate to put on your desk. They also gave out regular awards for mvp, most improved, etc. It was kind of nice as a kid who sucked - and listen, when you suck at something, you know it and the other kids know it - to get that desk ornament as a reward for gutting it out and sticking with it. It's not like that little token thing made me feel like a special snowflake. I knew I was a 4th line player. It was still nice

i remember i got a lower grade on a test on one of my college courses and my dad said somethign to me about it.. i responded with i did all the work right but just imposed a number and got the answer wrong. he looked at me and said "your building just fell down and people died"
