The thing about the D in the first round is there are a lot of risks . Some of these guys are closer to a Travis Sanhiem than a Ivan Provorov. - VANTEL
Who?
Sorry, i don't speak Eastern conference. |

Too bad they mismanaged Tryamkin (and some maturity issue got in the way), he could've been a good player for us this year. Hopefully when his contract is over in two years he comes back. |

A Dman that could score would be a miracle. |

Sounds like Pastrnak and Krejci were making Tryamkin look foolish at WHC, on several occasions. |

How could they have managed him any better? Top pairing minutes, first PP unit, nightly massage w/ happy ending? |

They could have started with getting the big fella a lid that actually fit. |

How is the luv for Wahly going?
Anyone saying D is BPA? Toss up?
I do see a good F dropping to us.
If Dahlin Svech Zadina Hughes Dobson gone Either of Tkachuk or Wahlstrom & chance of Zadina. D is a safe pick when we need a homerun being a F most likely. |

All of those would've certainly helped IMO
Just my opinion but I believe they were of the false opinion at the time they could win and perhaps make the playoffs, so they overmanaged his minutes. Some nights he was the best dman they had but he only played 12 or 14 minutes, it frustrated him.
The old school mentality that you earn your ice over time instead of just putting the guys who are going good out there and running with them. They should've pounded second pairing minutes into him but instead they had Stecher, Gudbranson, Tanev, Hutton and Edler all averaging 20 minutes a night to his 16.
Edler has been gassed the past few years because they play him 24+ minutes a night, there's no need for it.

Provorov is a beast
Sanhiem not so much yet
Sanhiem and Evan Bouchard had similar jr stats and qualifications |

If they slide i prefer Tkachuk or Wahly
Need a LW to replace Daniel if Tkachuk doesn’t make it as a C. Same goes for Wahly would be a RW & JV or LE can swap to LW. Draft either as a C firstly.
Not sold on Bouchard yet. Dobson also. Hughes & Boqvist intrigue me most if we pick D. JB i can trust.
Seeing as i figure we are short on top 4D who can score & help the PP & we lack enough elite top 6F & can continue onto bery good top 9 talent so i want who has the most upside & who has the best skills. It keeps coming back to who might slide. I favour lethal & game changers at 7th. IMO lines have a 1-2 punch a good compliment as a 3rd wheel. Those being JV LE & Liepsic as we currently sit. Wouldn’t miss Sven if traded or packaged. Gets us at least a high 2nd or maybe late 1st if we get lucky. |

Hello from Herning,
Just finished watching Sweden/Slovakia, with one eye also on Latvia/Germany.
Canada plays the late game today, so today's blog is a rundown of what's happening with all the Canucks-connected players elsewhere in the tournament.
