Much the same as last year people, including me, were questioning Cheveldayoff and his building.

Yes I was questioning his methods, because I watch them play and they weren't having any success. He also wouldn't make any trades for the longest time. But what does that have to do with the me "believing what's printed in the media"?

People I know and talk hockey with were of the opinion they weren't sure if extending him was the right move and yes it was also being questioned in the print media and social media.

The point was the Jets had another disappointing season last year missing the playoffs and people were questioning Chevy's ability to move his team to the next level, then suddenly it all came together for them this year after seven years. Much like the Kings in 2012.

Really enjoy the styles of both these teams.
The Vegas puck pursuit reminds me a little bit of the Canadiens of the 70's.
Both solid hockey teams throughout their lineups.

On James van Riemsdyk and Bozak..

I am putting these guys together because as of right now the Canucks are looking into grabbing one of the two highly paid Leafs...Last week it looked more like JvR would be the target, but now I am hearing more regarding Bozak and the NY Rangers are the ones leading the pack for JvR.

Probably could use another top 6 winger. Preferably one that was younger.

Bozak wouldn't be my first choice for center either. Probably not even the top 5.

I am pulling for Vegas and the reason is because of all the wheeling and dealing they had to do in one year is incredible. They did not have one player on the team at this time last year
