The nice thing is, there's a lot of good players in the top seven, the Canucks will get one of them. |

I have a hunch that Flyers and Rangers will be wanting to move up in the draft. Both teams have a lot to offer, in terms of assets. |

AMazing job by Korea in this tournament. They have come a long way. |

I was just checking CapFriendly and looking at NYI
I was thinking Tanev 7th OA for Brock Nelson 11 th and their their two seconds . Two centers Joe Veleno and Barrett Hayton are sitting there at 11 and Brock Nelson answers top line LW
Also this summer send Gudbrandson home for Bjugstadt

He’s not worth Nelson and a 2nd?
I don’t think that’s unreasonable at all considering the lack of good dmen available this summer and the premium price they command in trades |

Why do you think he will fall? - manvanfan
Defence is a huge thing in this draft. Wahlstrom Dobson Hughes could very well go before him. |

Man if he fell to us
I’m still curious about Jim’s “big 6” in this draft. Dahlin/Svech/Zadina are the obvious 3, but I wonder who the other 3 are. |

Perhaps, in my mind Nelson str8 up for Tanev is his value because of his injury history. But hey, if Snow wants to make that deal then I'm |

I don't usually like the idea of trading a high pick, but, this year I like a lot of the kids in the 10--25 range, that I would be ok with Benning getting creative.
Veleno Hayton McIsaac Kotkaniemi Kupari, even Wilde, who I have also soured on(more like a Jack Johnson type), would all be nice additions, as long as we could also offload some of our excess fringe nhl'ers, like Hutton and Granlund. |

I don't know why but I just cannot get into the draft this year.
Just too many possibilities to argue over which is best.
1. Draft the best player available regardless of position.
2. Trade Tanev for a late round #1. (So we have two next year when we host)
3. Wake me up at Free Agency.
4. Welcome back Vanek on a one year contract perfect for a deadline trade. |
