Edibles.

Always good to have someone's first experience be with edibles so they learn what being 5X too high is like

Pettersson will have surgery on his thumb, be out a few weeks. A minor and routine surgery, will be 100% healthy at training camp, #Canucks

Pitts looking to dump Matt Hunwick . His salary is 2.25 @2 yrs . Here is a case where you take their second round pick and bury Hunwick on the Comets making it a 1.25 hit fro two years

If you extrapolate his numbers from this year he would have been our 3rd highest scoring Dman

Granlund doesn't even have a contract atm. I think he's due for a bounce back year, wait until TDL or next summer to trade him if we don't need him.

Motte is likely a career AHLer, one of Leipsic or Boucher will start in Utica.

I am hoping Canucks go a little better this year than just signing the same old same old. I don't see a need to sign all of those guys. I see a guy like Brandon Tanev as a free agent. I love that guys game . Need to keep going forward but also time to trim some of the fat. I think we will see Bozak sign here for a three year deal .

Signing Bozak to a 3 year deal would be a poor move unless you're planning on trading Sutter in the next year or two imo.

If Gaudette establishes himself this year and Pettersson proves capable of playing C then all of a sudden you have a logjam with Sutter and Bozak taking up too much space down the middle.

I'd only want to sign Bozak for 1 or 2 years but I doubt he'd want a deal that short.

I agree that new blood is needed for sure rather than the same crappy lineup. That's why I hope our prospects push for jobs this year and make some of those guys redundant rather than us signing old FAs that will be taking up too much space 2 years from now

As much as I do like Sutter I do hope he is traded at TDL. We need to pick up a stud center in the draft and having a couple of first round picks would sure help that process

Thatcher Demko on SN 650 says he's ready for the NHL: "I am a guy that will push himself to get to the next stage. My 1st year pro I didn't have a great start, I don't get rattled because I have a bad game. There is a development curve but I am ready and willing to take it on."

I was listening to an interview with a former goaltending coach breaking down Demko's game and he said he's good, but he's got some things to work on technically. Says he's a much better tender now than he was in college. #hopeful

I saw an article from a while back on Goldobin, they talked a bunch about how he and Boucher were buddies from back in junior and even today Boucher is the guy who is most able to give Goldy a push when he's not playing his best. As much as I don't care if Boucher plays any NHL games next year I hope they try them on a line together in training camp, if the chemistry can work against NHL competition they could play with Gaudette in sheltered minutes next year

I don't mind Bozak but really we are just circling the drain by bringing him here. Agree need to look to different players than just assembling the same crappy lineup all the time.

Canucks have about a 2 year stop gap at center . That is why Benning wanted the twins to come back. We need to find some type of 2 year solution
