Lilegren's going to be a great dman for Toronto, might make the team next year and has all the markings of a very good top4 player in the modern NHL. You didn't call hieskanen in the top5 (no one on this board did), you were all over middlestadt and Glass all year. But hey, it's all good. Every year guys slip that should have been picked higher and vice-versa some guys have big draft years and get picked high then fizzle a bit. As usual, I'll take the scout's opinion. - neem55
I do remember Don liking Heiskanen and Glass
Sidenote:
Glass had a very solid D+1 season so I find it bizarre that Canuck fans who wanted him are laughed at lol. Clearly EP is the superior prospect so far but Glass hasn’t regressed or anything.
Tippett got outscored by a dman on his jr team so his D+1 year seems more Virtanen like.
Rasmussen also didn’t exactly carry his team this year.
Those would have been more disappointing top 10 picks |

yes I did. Manvan, please confirm. I never wanted Mittlestad. I liked Nico and Heiskanen the best. Followed by Makar then Glass and Petterson. Hated Lijegren and Patrick.
Edit - I don't think Liljegren makes the team next year or the season after. - CanuckDon

Played really well for the marlies in his rookie year, he's got a shot going into camp depending on what they do. Either way, he's looking very good. Bit ahead of all our young guys after a year. I wouldn't be surprised with one more year in the AHL, but he will be tearing it up down there this year and I would be willing to put my money where my mouth is on that. 40+ points this year easy on the marlies if he doesn't get an early/mid season call-up. He was one of their best players by the end of last year as one of the youngest players in the league. |

Haven’t followed him this year, but I did like him at the spot the Leafs got him.

You can always improve a prospects skating ability, just look at Horvat. Offensive instinct is much harder and sometimes impossible to teach, see Tanev, Gudbranson, etc.
If we're picking a Dman it should be one with more offensive ability, they will have time to improve their skating. Bouchard>Dobson |

Agreed, Glass is still a really solid prospect. EP has simply surpassed all reasonable expectations |

Well you are credible, I'll concede it as me forgetting. Still don't think he had him top5, I remember Makar being up there for both of us. His stance on Liljgren is just straight up wrong though, he's going to be a hell of a player. Time is the only thing that tells.

It's a piece of paper in a notebook. People make predictions and such. They go in there. Who people like for draft picks.
We have all been over this but it started last season. Not a whole lot makes it on there. Things that do usually end up coming up later though. |

I stand corrected! It appears Donny was finally into his element. Alright, book boquist as competing with Dahlin in terms of points production in 3-4 years
Last year I was on Heponiemi. He's my call for rookie of the year 2018-19, you heard it here first! |

I got roughly 2:1....I felt 100% certain Nico was going first. I should have had Sutter size balls and bet $20k lol |

Where do you find those types of betting categories on Bodog? I guess they only come out close to the draft? |

Let me look...should be out now. I think I made the bet around this time of year. First time I’ve bet on the draft. You should try it out! |
