"...And Justice for All" is the most underrated Metallica Album. Even with the shoddy production.
That is all. |

So Mitts at 2C gets 45-50 points. That pretty much by default means that ROR is at 1LW, because there's 0 chance that if Mitts and ROR are both at center, that ROR plays less than Mitts.
It would obviously benefit ROR enormously if Mitts could take some even-strength minutes away from ROR, so that ROR could get down to maybe 18 minutes, so that his PP and PK prowess can be utilized better.
So to answer your question, the emergence of Mitts as a bonafide point-producing center would help both ROR and the team.
Again, I would trade ROR for a Panarin or Taresenko-type winger, and throw in one of the picks you covet as building blocks (#32 overall). - jcragcrumple
What are you going to do when ROR is moved :/

If he's moved, I'll continue being a fan of this franchise because I love hockey, and I love the Sabres more than NHL-hockey itself. If he and Risto are moved for futures, I'm gonna check out of this season, because I'm not gonna watch tank hockey when they have a chance to be good this year.
But based on his comments, I don't think Botts is gonna do that |

I’m talking about this conversation in a year from now, after Mitts tears it up and it’s apparent he’s taking over as a top 6 Center.
I’m fine with O’Reilly at LW in the top 6. Or even the 3 spot. But not at 7.5 cap hit when we’re staring down the barrel of Mitts, Dahlin, Reinhart contracts within 2 years of that.
The only 7+ wingers that should be around are the Pat Kane’s and Tarasenko’s of the world |

A player like him, yes, which I don't feel is hard to locate.
I don't want the guy traded for peanuts. And if they don't trade him, so be it. I'll root for him to help us win.
I just think GMJB knows he isn't going to be one of our top 5-6 players in a year or so, and it would be foolish to not capitalize on a team that might view him that way.
Look at every rebuilding team, they all have to move out players when there young stars get paid. Kyle Okpsos isn't getting traded. He has no value, dude was in intensive care a calendar year ago.
I mean, you can convince me that Reinhart should be moved before Oreilly, but he's 22, and fits our timeline

So the mid first is Girgensons, but the 32nd pick with a hypothetical + should get us Max Domi? - sbroads24
Did i say that?
NOPE
Just more sh!t you’re throwing against the wall
And i never even said “a mid 1st is girgensons”
What i did say was
“a mid 1st is just as likely to turn out to be Girgensons as it is Pasternak”
But u just go ahead and pick & choose what part of my statements to quote
More cherry picking

I understand your logic, but I disagree with you.
I want to keep our good players. If that means we have to pay draft picks to clear $22m in cap (Moulson, Pommer, Bogo, Okposo) in order to accommodate his cap hit, so be it. Let's deal with the almost 1/3 of the cap space that's dead before we worry about moving productive players
We should have our young core now (Eichel, Dahlin, Mitts, Reinhart, Risto). ROR is the perfect compliment to them.

I do too. I also want a window of 10 years or so where we can keep them with limited albatross contracts that are tough to move, epsecially ones that aren't playing a key role.
If we were banging on the door of cup contention, there's no way I'd deal him for the 11th pick and prospect, but we aren't close |

Neither did J Crag
He said,
“It’s a statistical fact that the player u draft (in the mid 1st and lower) has a BETTER CHANCE of being a 4th liner or worse, than (the pick has) of becoming a good player”
Nice to know u don’t only cherry pick from what i say |

“I tossed Rasmussen in the end just to show how abysmal Mittelstadt's 5v5 data is.”
So how is it that you’re so high on Casey,
yet so down on ROR for his 5v5 numbers?

Because I don't care about his 5 on 5 college numbers, and I've seen O'Reilly struggle to score 5 on 5 for 3 straight years?
