I think Antipin and Baptiste were the two Sabres who were mismanaged the worst. Very hard to evaluate either of their performance because of lack of playing time. And when they did play, they played with scrubs.

Baptiste has wheels, size and he rode shotgun for McDavid in Erie. Good enough for me. Put him on the 3rd line with EROD and Bailey and watch them fly.

First of all jack is elite he can do basically everything himself with bums so you can’t compare the two

You know how many times Jack has set up a goal on a platter for some of these scrubs? And they either whiff it, or miss an open net. Even elite players are affected by scrub line mates.

Hockey is all about chemistry, more than any other sport IMO. You get 3 guys on a line that click, its dangerous.

There are those highly valuable 2nd /3rd round picks again with their high success rate!
Swing, and a miss....again.

Do they believe Girgensons and Pommer are first line players? is Wilson a second line player? All these guys played in the wrong positions

They wanted Dahlin. We stealth tanked for Dahlin. You can't put a guy like Baptiste with Eichel because if chemistry erupts, how do you break them up and justify it? we didn't need to be winning meaningless games late in the year and wind up picking 5-9.

You just said he has to earn it, then i point out he scored 2 goals in 13 mins, and he plays 11 minutes the next night? did he not work hard enough?

So which is it: is he worse than Girgensons, or did he not earn it by scoring twice from the 4th line?
