Wow, they let James Neal back in the game after that? Yikes. He couldn't even sit up on the bench.

Tough room. LOL Making trades just for the sake of making trades is not wise. Better get great value back . I sure hope your GM is not taking advise from this board. He seems to be a smart cookie so I assume not . Why not start Middlestat on Jack's wing and slowly give him. Center shifts . I don't think he should start out right away at center . Let him grow into it . Tough to get any free agents to come to your town when you keep running people out of town . These guys all talk., and even read the internet boards . The hostility form a lot of your fan base will scare guys away . It is getting worse than Toronto boards for Hostility. Chill out there keyboard GM's .

It will come around . Patience is a virtue.

No you should not , But you do not give poop away like being suggested. They will make changes . But Botterill is a smart Michigan MBA grad . Everything will be well timed , thought out and not like some here want . If only the real world worked like EA Sports video games. Dump the dead weight for sure . and by the way Tavares is not coming to Buffalo.

Nobody has suggested giving poop away. People value certain players differently. What I consider fair value, someone else considers not nearly enough.

Klefbom for Ristolanin ?? I think Risto will work out nice for you guys that he will not have to play 25 minutes a game. Klefbom i
injury history is getting scary . Could be the next Bogo !

spanish exclamation marks aside, Klefbom and 10th overall as originally suggested brings far more value short term and long term. They'd need to have a second move lined up to add a RHD though. I can't watch a Sabres team that sees Bogosian play any more than 18-20 minutes.

The 10th overall pick hasn't had a lot of winners over the years. The Avs seem to have hit with Travis Jost in 2016, and definitely did with Mikko Rantanen in 2015, but Nick Ritchie in 2014 by the Ducks, and these many busts with only a few hits. Some people get excited when they hear 10th overall pick like it's an NFL pick but trading Risto for a less talented D and a 10th overall is meh.

I swear to baby jesus.

If Ristolainen is playing 25 min per
Lehner is our #1
O'Reilly is playing 20 min
Bogosian is in a top 4 role

And anyone says "Playoffs" I'm going to play Russian Roulette, by myself with a fully loaded gun

You aren’t gonna change their minds
These ppl that wanna trade good players for draft picks think that only “dumb gms” make bad picks & that all the 1st round picks that Botts makes will be “stars”

Appreciate u making sense though
Thanks sir
