The Stick in Rink is lame. One of the most boring logos.
The skate is good - NorthNuck
I agree, seems like the safe choice that no one will call ugly but won't be making heads turn either.
A hockey team with a hockey stick as a logo just sounds lame to me, no matter how clean it looks. |

I know, but you're allowed to be over by 10% over the cap during the summer so this still seems bizarre. - Nucker101
You can be 10 % over but by the start of the season you need to have it cap legal |

Don't they have to miss 10 games before you can put them on LTIR? |

I believe if they get put on LTIR, they player has to miss at least 10 games. So it's the other way around.
I could be wrong though. But I remember reading about how the Leafs put Lupul and Robidas on LTIR during day 1 of the season. |

all eyes on the shiny new toy EP this year, but Bo's been one of the best in the tournament. |

I was just researching and LTIR covers the salary not the cap hit or bonuses. Hossa's salary is 1 mil per year for the rest of the contract |

for real? Now I'm really confused lol
Then how did we get away with having Salo on LTIR the SCF cup year when he got bit by a snake(lol) and we had Hamhuis, Ehrhoff, Bieksa, Ballard, Salo, Edler all making like 3M+ on defense?
I'm 99% sure Salo's cap hit was off the books that year until he came back from injury later in the season and we had someone else on LTIR to make room for him at that point.
Gillis and Gilman were greasy bastards, Salo just happened to recover from his injury as soon as the cap space was cleared up enough to activate him from LTIR. |

Man I hope so...the Orca f'n needs to go.
Hopefully Stick n' Rink...the proper one.
But the Flying Skate would be ok too...
- LordHumungous
get rid of the orca and just go stick n rink and flying skate.
I even like the flying v better than the orca.
Nice to see Nilsson doing well, might be able to get something for him at the draft. |
