Is it evil to kind of wish to see people's reaction if we didn't pick Dahlin - gerbe75pts
Yes. Wishing for purgatory to continue means you're not a fan. I want to see people's reaction when Eichel kisses the cup and hands it off to Dahlin. |

Just a quick question about that let's say a miracle happens and we sign John Tavares
We make him captain with Jack
Do they both go up and grab the cup at the same time and hold it up together? |

You might be right but with social media now ( which I love ) it's harder to get away from problems - gerbe75pts
It’s because people get so caught up comparing their lives to someone else’s highlight reel. |

I dont think JT is a good fit for what they are trying to do. I would rather have Stamkos at 13 than JT at 9.
I know Stamkos isnt available. Just making a point on cap allocation. |

Well, damn, who knows how that would play out. Jack's got seniority here, but JT has seniority in the league. As ridiculous as it is, I would be Betteman would ask Housely, who do you want to accept the cup if you win tonight? |

As much as I would love JT on this team, I would still like to see what Eichel in year 5 and Mitts in year 2 can do as 1C/2C, given we can move RoR for a top 6 winger.
2019-20
(Ror trade) Eichel reinhart
Nylander Mitts Oloffson

I would also take Stamkos but franchise players don't suddenly hit the free agent Market you can't be picky lol |

Very well might happen. I've been around long enough to know I know nothing about sports. I've won and lost bets you'd think were impossible. |

Hopefully he gets in the best shape of his life like last year and he makes the team this time without any injuries |

Go on...
And stops being a passenger and actually gets involved consistently rather than watch for 58 minutes per game. |

I know, but I still have faith, it's too early to give up on a kid who's only 20. He's talented, he's hit the gym and is jacked for a 20 year-old, he seems driven given his brothers success. I think we're using him wrong, and I think he needs a full season after this groin injury.
I'm willing to give him this year to make noise, same goes with Fasching.

I still say if he didn't get injured he would have had a hell of a year ..
That injuery set him back a year he took his training serious at summer and he buffed up big time and now that's all gone |

Hopefully his work-out buddy isn't Bogo. Whatever training Bogo does in the off season obviously isn't working for him. Dude needs to spend less time with the weights and more time stretching or something.

Nylander got so fit in the summer him and his brother hit another level Alex nylander hit stage 2 of bodybuilding his brother hit stage 3 lol

Wow, that is a huge difference for sure, seriously.
And seriously again, he needs to find consistency in his play within each game and across many 10 of game stretches.
And get involved in the dirty areas where the 90% of the goals are scored. |

To paraphrase what my Dad used to say "opportunity is knocking for Nylander". What a golden opportunity it is for him to get a Top 6 position in the NHL. Hopefully the kid does whatever he has to do to seize the opportunity.
BTW - i wonder how he feels about going from the golden boy 2 years ago to being described in the same breath as Bogo and others? People on this board talk more about Asplund, Pu, Oloffson and Baptiste than they do about Nylander. Throw in Dahlin and Mitts and Nylander is going to get an inferiority complex pretty quickly.

I go to every development camp, prospect tournament, and as much preseason as I can. I've been to maybe 3-4 Roch games to see him. So often, the dude is completely invisible |

I used to live in Rochester before I moved her last year.
Amerks games are fun when they were decent.
Your summary is the same I have heard from others who attend.
Plays mostly a perimeter game.
I wonder why he has the sick puck handling skills for if he doesn’t relish playing in traffic areas to use them.
Oh well.
I would totally sell now while some of his Junior history is relevant...somebody may believe they can “fix” him. |
