Since we are here, if ROR can fetch us a great return, which I assume he can, you do it.

If Vegas wins the cup, they should tear down that team and rebuild.

Winning it in the first year, they will have nothing left to achieve there and I would expect a massive let down next year and the year after. That same fire just wouldn't be there.

Vegas has a chance to acquire some more first round picks and prospects, and they should, MIO.

Well, let's be real. Any picks they trade their players for will all be 1sts, or basically 1sts, which are all 1sts, so they'll have 25 1st overalls. Nice haul, if you ask me.

We're a 31st place team with Eichel on it, which makes him expendable because he was a -25 plus minus and his Offensive Point Shares was below 5.6.

The freezes we had in march killed some of the crop. But they have had a good bounce back April-May, this year should be better than last year and last year was good.

So I would say yes. Go to a farmers market, or a local farm to get them, not a grocery chain.

Fun little fact. Middlingstats, based on 7 scouting outlets, had an average projected draft position of 4.9. So one could surmise that he could very well be a steal.

Bobby Mac - "“There’s no question in my mind that the Sabres are open for business. My sense is that after the exit interviews were done with the Sabres, I think they realized they really need to make some changes to their core. I hate to use the term “culture change” because I think it’s such an over-used cliche, but I do believe it applies in this instance, that there does need to be a culture change in Buffalo. So I think they’re all ears on just about anybody not named Jack Eichel or Rasmus Dahlin. I suppose that’s a little bit hyperbole, I mean it always is when you say “they’re listening on everybody”—it’s not a fire sale.

In my view, the player that is most likely to be moved is veteran center Ryan O’Reilly. Now in some ways mentioning him first after mentioning “culture change” that’s probably not fair to him. Because it sort of implies that he’s at the root of everything wrong with the Buffalo Sabres, and the Sabres’ culture of losing and that’s not entirely true, in fact it may not be true at all. But he’s a core guy, and if you’re going to effect a culture change, you need to move core guys. It’s as simple as that.”

I would prefer we address the fact that our shooting percentage was in the bottom 3% of all seasons since 1990. That's the kind of culture change I want. Fewer bad players, more good ones
