Todd Bertuzzi on SN 650 talking about the #Canucks going after ufa Ryan Reaves., "He is outstanding physically, so hard to contain down low and he is a lesser version of Dustin Byfuglien. That is something for sure the Canucks can use going forward."

Bo as was projected 3C. Bo learned how to skate and it made him a 2C.

Do you think Hayton has to work on his skating or can improve anything significantly enough to have him go from a projected 2C to a 1C?

Bo's projection was 2C from the get go.

Reaves game is more aggressive . Lucic was more or a cheap shot guy. Reaves is an in your face guy. I wouldn't go long term but I would be okay 2-3 yrs

NHL Potential: 2nd or 3rd line Centre

His top-level defense drove him up the rankings in a loaded draft class, and it will secure him minutes at the NHL level, but it is his offense that will keep him in a top-six role. Vision, passing and underrated stickhandling combine to make him a relatively safe projection as a defensively responsible second line center.

You were right. I remember it being a high of 2nd and low of 3rd.

Bob Mac says Mark Hunter may follow Lou to the NYI's so Snow may be on the out. Tavares still to sign in Vancouver as his childhood dream was to live on the West Coast.

Why do they feel the need to pull at our heartstrings?

Unfortunately the draft is before free agency. I'm not sure if they are allowed to talk to free agents before that. Tavares signing here could change the draft plans for Van. I would be looking to pick up the most NHL ready player available.

Signing Tavares with Bo, Brock and EP and Dahlen waiting in the wings puts us in the playoff discussion. If that's even REMOTELY true, then Tanev, Hutton, Baertschi, Grandlund are expendable. I'd even be open if Tavares has made it known to JB that he's wants to sign to trading the 7OA+ to get Karlsson so that we have our 1C/1D set and can legitimately try and compete for the Cup in 2-3 years instead of 6-7 as it is now.

All 2016's go back into the draft do they not?

Nicolas Mattinen and Jordan Stallard would probably two players I would give a shot too (if Van had some extra 7th round picks)

It's a super long shot but a Tavares signing would literally replace all of the Sedins lost points in one fell swoop...then continue to build and draft around it. I saw a 199/1 shot come in at the horse races a few weeks back...Tavares could happen right??

Tavares, Brock, Bo, Karlsson and ? on PP1??

I would be fine getting Mattinen, former teammate of Juolevi and played well for London, also, Elynuik would be a nice addition.

I think JB should offer Tanev for the Oilers 10OA. Obviously starting offer should include a little extra, maybe a late round pick, but if they are as desperate as some are saying doing Tanev for the 10OA straight up would be a great deal.

When I seen the post on Twitter (the article) there was no mention of Tanev , we value him higher than other teams. The offer was 10 OA plus Kleffblom for OEL or Ristolainen.

I think the best chance we have for a first is Tanev for the 25 th.

I think Tanev could go for higher than that as long as it's playing to a teams needs. 10OA is obviously a stretch but Chia traded Hall for Larsson...

I don't know enough about the Oilers to say whether Broissoit is good enough to be the backup next year but if not why not add Nilsson to the deal, don't expect to get much for him anyways.
