May i say, Woohoo!. It's about freakin' time. Now if we can fire Snow into a vat of acid, we'll be doing just fine.

It is with great relief and thankfulness that I come before you and admit that I was half wrong. THANK GOD!
If you recall, I stated many times that JT would walk for nothing and Snow would remain GM.
Now, if JT can just sign. I would love to be 100% completely wrong in my statements. That is all. Fire away!

A bit more info on Lamoriello/Tavares: sounds like they met face-to-face last Wednesday in New York. Told it was “introductory” as they had not talked before, now NYI have window to pitch.

Unless it is a position made "for show" to appease fans (aka: glorified senior advisor or that ilk), it's really too late to change ANYTHING on any level this close to draft #isles #reality

Staple on TSN 690 and here's a summary of what he's said so far. Some of it was prompted by questions from the host:

- Not sure that Lou will fire Snow
- Not sure Hunter will be brought into the fold
- Said, re: draft, that he had originally thought they'd keep 1 pick and trade the other but now he's not ruling out them trading both

Gotta think there will be some interest in guys like JVR and Bozak now with Lou running things. Bozak would be a good replacement at center for Nelson on the third line, on the right deal.

Trading both picks would be a surprise. If Conte is brought in then bringing in Hunter does not make sense. It would not shock me if Garth stays on.

Man I listened to that too he thought jt was gone but now could stay. I think snow is castrated but staple wouldn't say it
