Well as far as his play on the ice and making the smart play or team play and structure, he's not better. As far as dangling and individual skill he's better but imho individual play isn't what the Islanders are looking for. Really not many NHL teams are.

We will disagree on JHS and see what happens with him.

Dehaan and kuhlamin have value I think both would help this team in their own end tremendously

I think the fact Lou is in we have a chance at DeHaan. If it was Snow making the call Dehaan would tell him to take a shat and slide in it!

Jordon Staal is getting 6 Mil. for 10 years ( 2012 - 2022 ). Tavares is worth double especially when you look how much higher the Cap is now versus when Staal signed that lovely contract. Would only be for 8 years as well.
