I'm changing my tune, I kinda hope they keep Garth on board but demote him so far down the ladder that he's effectively professionally-castrated. I think it's a lot more demeaning than being terminated outright.

Garth can still be "GM" but Hunter (or whoever) can be "Real GM" or some similar title that has actual power that comes with it.

I was actually kinda hoping they re-signed him on the cheap.

I'm relatively sure Aivis flat-out makes stuff up, so that could still happen. He had us signing Koskinen and then that Garipov guy...both who ended up signing with not-the-Islanders.

I don't know what sort of poison pill or firing clause received from Wang or even if he did. Honestly doesn't matter, Snows been neutered. Lou has taken total control down to knowing every employee at The Islanders down to clerks and what their job responsibility is. The Islander offices and the employees are on edge.

He is micro managing every aspect of the team, especially Hockey Ops. No ones calling any shots or making decisions without Mr. Lamoriello's blessing.
