Anyone can. I'm happy as shat the guy is here but until these guys are all fired I'm not buying into it completely. No evaluation needs to be done their record speaks for themselves. I don't want to hear some ridiculous reasoning why they're still here. Contract my arse if the almighty Lou wants Snow gone he would be gone. There's zero chance the NHL would allow some absurd "fire" clause written into Snow's contract especially with Wang being the orchestrator of said contract. That's just bullshat fabricated by a fan base desperate for positivity.

We all want the same thing but if Snow and Weight are still here at the start of the season it speaks volumes. For those that want to stick their heads in the sand and make pretend its "just in title" go right ahead living in the land of make believe. You cant say Lou has full autonomy and in the same sentence say it means nothing if Weight and Snow are still here. It's an obvious contradiction. Now with all of this said I am hoping they're both fired. I still believe there's a chance it happens but if it doesn't it's because Lou wants them here and it's not so they have zero role in anything. That's the dumbest (frank)ing thing I've seen on here in a while.

I want to see Snow standing on a loading dock waiting for an Uber, but I don't think it will happen. I think the best we can hope for is a title change. I've said it before, if he is the GM next year it is a slap in the face of every Islander fan.

Give it time. Let’s let Lou evaluate shat and see how the season plays out. With Dougie and Snow or without them.
Let’s see what he does in the next month leading up to the draft as far as the players on the team.

Contrary to popular belief (with the usual suspects)That's exactly where I'm at happy but as of now like so many things Islanders the job is incomplete. I still hope/believe they're both gone before the season starts. I honestly think Weight should be eliminated from this team completely also. Anyone Snow hired should be gone because they were all hired for the wrong reasons to begin with and to me Weight has shown how inept he is at just about anything he has done whether it be assistant GM, assistant coach running a terrible PP, and this time around head coach. Time to turn the page just my two cents.

I'll give it time that's exactly what I'm doing BUT if Snow and Weight are still here at the start of the season it's a complete, total, failure. They may be fired and I'm hoping Lou has it mapped out already if he needs time to "evaluate" Snow and Weight that's a red flag whether you want to see it or not. We'll disagree and I'll never understand how you can say Lou has full autonomy on one hand then say its just fine that they still have jobs while offering zero input on anything. It literally makes no sense. With this said let's just hope Lou fires them all.

Weight we know is a lame duck coach unless somehow this team responds well in beginning of season (doubt it tho) but Garf will be here bc of clause in contract but will not have any decision making going forward (which is a plus)
