I honestly can't see Bergevin going "off the board" and not drafting Zadina.
His job depends on that pick... don't try to be creative or outsmart everyone.... pick the (frank)ing player everyone knows should go #3. - Scabeh
And how long will it take before some start calling him Zagina? |

But only to play with Danault and Lehkonen on a sinking ship is a horrible idea for many different reasons - obie
Hope he bounces back. |

I want the #3 pick and another one in the 1st round, time to draft a couple solid prospects, the cupboard is pretty (frank)ing bare |

I think Byron, Lindgren the 35th and 38th picks get you somewhere in the early 20's |

he once blocked a shot, he should compete for the backup job with niemi and Lindgren |

Maybe take out the 38th?
I really think they should deal Byron at the draft! I know most disagree... |

He should land a late first by himself at the deadline. Back to back 20 goals season.
I'm not sure why you want to get rid of him so bad. |

I wouldn't say I want to get rid of him but they have lots of wingers, another 20 goal season and he'll hit the market looking for 4 or more and his low cap hit actually ads to his value in a trade... You said it yourself, he might fetch a 1st himself, not bad asset management considering they snatched him off waivers not long ago!
Question really is, do you take a 1st for him now or pay him 4 million for the next 5 years? |

from a MB point of view, trying to save his ass, a team that can't score goals...he's not trading Byron |

The team couldn't score and he let Radulov walk
Besides, I was suggesting what he should do, not what he's gonna do... What he's about to do scares the piss out of me! |

How many times did they screw up with a late first round pick? A lot of times if not most. On est pas les Expos de Mtl non plus. Il faut les payer à un moment donné ces joueurs là. |

So you're saying they should extend him?
And just know I'm not against the idea, I like Byron! |
