Not needed. I think hes a decent 2nd pairing RD and had 42 points this last year. Did a decent job of running the PP. - nords21
42 points and caused 99 goals against us |

He's not great defensively, not gonna argue that but I think he's fine on the 2nd pairing with some PP time... |

Ovechkin finally made it to the cup final... the guy deserved it. But it must be a pretty terrible feeling to lose the way Tampa did, not being able to score a single goal in the last 2 games, with all the "firepower" they had. |

I still think he will end up with the NYI, but this is likely his only chance at UFA and will likely see what else is out there and / or max out his potential contract value via many offers to take back to the NYI to match. - Mashadar
The feeling in these parts is that he's going to stay, now that Lou is on board and will change the entire culture of the organization in a week. Thing is, by the time the new building is ready, they could have a decent team, but until then, it;s not happening and he has to play in a horrible facility where nobody gives a crap about them. There are not many reasons for him to stay. |

You see Fred, he was playing on the top pair. He's not a 1 or 2 kind of player. If he's on the 3/4 pairing, I think he would be just fine. He moves the puck well and has some skill offensively. At that position, he won't be under as much pressure to move forward and it will help his D game. |

Three years. And they did announce that they'll split home games between Barclay's and the Coliseum. For me, that is great news, and hopefully the Habs play at least one game at the Coliseum each season. |

Pierre was very sad that all the ex-Rangers and Penguins he talked up as being the greatest players of all time, all were the worst players for Tampa. |
