No. I am not paying for that poop when I can get poop for free all over the place. Same poop, one free the other behind a paywall. |

On Paul Wilson, who was named Senior VP of Public Affairs and Communications for Groupe CH (Habs, Rocket, Evenko, Spectra and all 3 pro arenas): He begins in August. And, as his title suggests, he's taking on a different role than the one previously occupied by Donald Beauchamp.

There's some obvious overlap there. The Canadiens PR staff will report to Wilson. But there's a lot more on the corporate side to this role than one previously occupied by Beauchamp.

of course he has...1st and 2nd round maybe...after that it's "the list" based on what their amateur scouts told them. |

It was such a waste.
I was hoping to read more from guys like Lebrun but most of the articles are just Arpon Basu whining |

I appreciate the fact they provide more substance than the basic RDS,TVA, TSN, Sportsnet basic habs writer. It's just a race to spill the same new with those 4 and barely any substance.
just over $3 per month when I signed, I don't mind.
and yes Arpon comes off as a whiner, even more when you follow him on twitter |

Tell ya what Pete, go get randomly thrown in a jail in some poophole, get tortured for 5 years+, and see how you feel about compensation. Not saying every one of these guys should get money, nor do I always agree, but I understand why it does happen. |

Timmons was on TSN radio sometime this year to clear the air. I guess he got sick of everyone blaming lack of prospects on him. He talked about the last management group going against his picks. He drafted McDonagh and they traded it away. He wanted to draft John Carlson but was pissed when they traded the pick for Tanguay. He wanted Kreider over LeBlanc and he named another big one that I can’t remember.
That’s just examples of the previous management group. Maybe Bergevin listens to him more. Or maybe he don’t. Timmons isn’t going to reveal that right now because he still works for him. |
