Not necessarily. Karabacek was signed May 25th. Martin was May 21st. As these guys are kinda bottom barrel prospects, history may say we shouldn't expect much out of guys signed this late out of the CHL, or they are/will be late bloomers and might be destined towards the redraft.

Also, they can sign AHL deals. Budik and Hagel would probably look good in the ECHL and see if they can get promoted in a year or two.

Question: Does not signing Hagel make you irrational or Botterill dumb?

Sabres should target Jett Woo if he falls in the draft. I've seen him as high as 14 and as low as late 2nd early 3rd, but with a name like Jett Woo, what could go wrong? He is a RD with good size. Seems more like a stay at home guy.
