I remember many of us (myself included) said LE would have a massive bounce back year...yea...not so much lol
It will be interesting to see where he stacks in the lineup next season. |

Honest question ...who has he played with as a Canuck ...Sedins were declining ...he seemed to bounce around between random combos ....he had a decent situation in Boston ...maybe he just isn’t good enough to make other players better but if you put him with good players maybe he can produce ....I dunno maybe he just sucks too lol |

What are you predicting the Flames will do with their 4 draft picks? |

This is the thing...he was brought in to play with Sedins after their dominating WHC performance together as a line. But he was really only given 12 games or so to gel with them before the line-juggling started. He's been up and down all 4 lines with plugs all the way to Horvat and Vanek so what the hell?
He did play with better players more consistently in DAL and BOS and had WAY more PP time especially that big year he had in BOS. But you'd think eventually He'd be the one to make players better but it just doesn't seem to be the case he needs to be carried to get his garbage-type goals. At this point I honestly don't know how this roster is going to help him succeed. I do think he needs to stay on one line for more than 6-12 games though to get some chemistry with his linemates. It's a factor. |

His concussion history obviously can be playing a factor ....but yeah at some point he was just a result of good line mates consistently ....I remember a time in Dallas where he was considered one of if not the most underrated player in the league lol ..... |

I read JPat yesterday and he said when he asked Benning what he was looking for with the first pick at the draft JB said SPEED - VANTEL
I guess we can expect Bouchard to be out. Hughes, Wahlstrom, Boquist or Dobson is who I would expect at this point. Looking for ward to it! Who do people have at #37?
My dream 37 pick would be kandre miller, play a beast game with nice speed and shot to boot. his draft stcok is rising the last few months though. Other than that, Groulx and Olofsson both have that size/skill and speed game I'd like to see th Canucks go for. Easy to pick a D in that spot, lots will go in both the first two rounds. |

Yup. I'll admit, I did expect it (wishful thinking) and to a certain extent could see it happening. He's a inconsistent player, seems to me he has a bad year or two and then a big one. Not sure if he can do it again, but I really hope so and they can find a trade partner even if we retain salary |

I have Boucher at 37...
Vantel/Benning likes Bahl there so I could see him being picked. |

You have a lot of things, he might slip out of the top10 but not much further than that. I could see Bahl getting picked by Detroit them having two picks right before our second and NYR having another does not help our chances of landing Swedes. I'm guessing that's good news to some |

Just for clarity, I've highlighted the spot where you've said that changes should be made in Tampa.
Firing an assistant coach is a change.
Using the rules of the English language, by suggesting that, it "would be a good start"would inherently imply that more changes should be made. This implication is instantly and automatically assumed when placed in a sentence such as the one that you used.
I wasnt and am not attacking you, nor am I denigrating you in any way. Instead I am merely pointing out that you did write what I said that you wrote, and I don't need to be attacked by you for pointing that out.
That concludes our English lesson for the day.
Thanks for playing
Personally I don't think that they should fire any of the coaching staff in Tampa. - Pres.cup
your history of personal attacks on me is very long. I had hoped parenthood would make you grow up.
its for the best that you never again respond to my posts, reference to posts, or refer to me in any way in any of your own posts |

That's key. Would be good if his numbers were up and we can move him. |

I was reading about how front loaded his contract is. Might be reasonable for a cap floor team to take on the 6mil hit while actually paying much less, especially if we retain some. |

absolutely. Concussions can certainly wreak havoc on a players performance ongoing.
Most people don't know how serious they are and what they can do to a person... long term as well |
