Not sure AHL hockey would fly in Van. Giants moved to Langley as they couldn't put 3000 asses in the seats some nights. Van fans are just to fickle with Hockey and money. can't see it working IMO. - LordHumungous
I would probably go to most games.
Vancouver Giants really have no connection to the Cannucks. Paying 20 dollars a game to see the baby Canucks is much more attractive than paying 140 to see the parent team who isn't much better. |

I like the idea of the team being in BC or Cali, but not in the Van area itself. The logistics don't seem to work + the prospects would be pummled by the media - NorthNuck
I like them to play in Surrey |

It’s be cool for a year or 2 and then no one would bother.
Plus potentially more injured prospects since there aren’t many AHL teams nearby so there’s more travel/fatigue. Utica is surrounded by AHL teams, I think they even bus to quite a few games.
I like Utica’s fanbase, they actually really care about that team. |

They’re in the east so the travel issue is void
Also I believe they have more than double the population |

Finding a job before graduation sucks. When will JB be fired, I want to send my resume for the GM position. |

CGA or chartered?
I’m not sure how much advice I can give you though since I work part-time lol. I make more money investing with a business partner than I do working so it doesn’t make sense for me to do 40 hour weeks |

The biggest reason they moved was that the Coliseum was wanting a crap ton more money out of them after the contract expired. Surrey would not have this issue with the Comets regarding how much they pay to play there. well priced ticket sales and if JB keeps young developing future Canucks there, they would do well. |

CPA. I've had three internships with government, public practice, and NPO, but its just annoying going through this whole process (three interviews with one firm is outrageous). Your living the life, I have a feeling you are investing in the construction industry. |

That's what you want in a player.
A guy who shows up in contract years.
Kane's 2 best seasons to date have been contract years.

Bottom line is that we technically need help at almost every position so posting rosters will just increase the suicide rate.
lol I thought that said 2 inch booner... - LordHumungous
I may as well have a 2 inch boner since they always tap out at about 1.5 inches.

It would be nice to be that forward thinking organization that lets a guy walk because you know he is overrated as you laugh at the other team for signing him.
Rather than being that organization that sign's said overrated player. |

Yeah . I don't have a problem with small deals to fill bottom pairings or stop gaps , but we have seen too many times , trying to hit a home run in free agency seldom works out.
I want hockey trades for RFAs and cap strapped teams

GM’s can’t help themselves. They just want to survive another 2-3 years.
You can get definitely get away with having an overpaid free agent or 2, but only if you have strong drafted and developed talent on your roster. Canucks are still trying to get to that point |
