I think Grubauer takes #32 +. Feels like he's in very high demand. - Lunaion
Probably and I would be more worried about getting a LWer for Jack before trading a high pick for a goalie (again) |

I like to consider them by age as well:
24- O'Regan
23- Oglevie, Malone, Smith
22 (not waiver exempt)- Fasching, Baptiste, Bailey
22 (wavier exempt)- Pilut, Olofsson
21- Borgen
20- Asplund, Nylander, Guhle
19- Pu
Some of these guys are already old enough that the prospect label no longer applies, and you're hoping for late bloomers or just depth guys. - Lunaion
I heard some NHL radio guys say they think he's ready for 4th line duty now fwiw |

I'm fine if they do it, but it would surprise me. #32 is one of the most valuable trade assets the team has, which is kind of sad, but they need to use it wisely.

Should be a lot of competition for those last few spots this year. It'll fun to watch. Not hard to see him winning it. |

Was just going to say isn't this a Lehner-type deal again? |

Pretty much.
I know it’s a double edged sword. You want a good goalie. You need a good goalie especially in the playoffs but this team needs more than just a goalie. |

Do not trade a 2nd round pick for Grubauer that’s basically a first round pick ( I’m not joking)

Bernier 3 year, 3.3 per. Perfect 1b for Ullmark imo |

Asplund
Davidson
Nylander |

Similar for sure, but Grubauer was been a lot better than Lehner (pre-trade). Every time I look at Lehner's Ottawa numbers, I get angry.

Yeah probably right. Also it only takes one GM who thinks Nylander is awesome to flip any value chart on its head |

Yeah I think Grubauer (sp?) is good enough, but he isn't anything special. Another average starter that has some potential to be better. As you said, he's just another goaltender.
I think we're going to see what Ullmark has as far as a starter. I'm not sold personally. As a goalie, his wild style is terrifying. Dom was terrifying too though, so we shall see. |

You really don't. A hot average goalie is going to beat a good goalie playing normally. |

Beware the backup goalie with sparkling numbers especially if he plays for a good team. Ask Calgary, Edmonton and Carolina how they feel about it. |
