We're now 10 years removed from the Lightning drafting stamkos. In that time they've basically done everything but win a cup, from bottoming out to free falling, to stanley cup to missing the playoffs cause of injuries.

They even built their team the right way and made a lot of great moves. Meanwhile the caps couldn't get anywhere with Ovi in his prime, are probably a worse team overall this year than they were last year, but will be going to the cup final.


The moral of that story is no league is more luck driven than this one. It's just crazy to think about how Tampa's for the most part done it all correctly with nothing to show for it.

Ovi a nd his line is a complete wrecking crew and they produce.
Tampa is running scared now as, Wilson, Oshie, Ovi are all out to get them back for hit or Brodie.

But like o tried to tell everyone,
Shattenkirk SUCKS at defense
And Holtby had a bad playoffs as well
