Eichel is bust, Middlestat will be injury prone. The defense is atrocious and Botts will mess up the draft and reach for Quinn Hughes at 1. He is also racist for trading Kane. If Ror could stop being an entitles brat maybe he would still love the game.

I think we trade him to Nashville who could use some leadership for Josi, a 1st and a prospect. We can throw in Jordan Nolan in a sign and trade.

I agree. He's inconsistent, just as expensive and the same age.

I get that he goes along with Botts/Housley's desire for speed and he fills a position of need, but the cons outweight the pros.

He will be just as expensive, we aren't getting younger and he is inconsistent as you say. Could be great with Eichel, but Canes would have to add for me.

Given that he is their top scorer, I don't see Carolina trading him with extras for our 2nd line center. We'll see, but I don't know how that works to the benefit of the Sabres enough to pull the trigger. Perhaps if he'd take that 5.75 or whatever again, but he'll want a raise, probably to right around that 7M that Kane got...too much.

There are plenty of options with RoR. If we ARE going to trade him, let's get the best return we can, which isn't necessarily the shiniest toy either.

I don't think ROR will be moved and I don't think skinner will waive to come here, but I can see why anyone would want that. As far as goal scoring goes, he's the real deal.

I have no clue what Skinner's thoughts are, but I agree about ROR. I don't think he will be moved at the draft unless it is to move up in the top 5. I think they go into the season with him, and depending on how things are going, possible move him late October, early November.
