Was listening to WGR too ... I like the idea of adding in a start of the art convention center as well.
Pegula’s pay for ample portion of the arena/statium, Govts pay for CC and infrastructure changes required.
Could be a transformative endeavor...especially is they could tie in Rail access to bring in fans from Rochester, Syracuse, Erie etc

I know this will never, ever happen but, if they build the arena downtown, it would be great if they extended the light rail south to Hamburg and out to Amherst to ease congestion

That is the type of investment needed to push Buffalo forward again over what has occurred over past ~10 years.
Could help revitalize downtown further by making city living easier with better access/cheaper acces to the Burbs and the accoutrements located there.
