Yeah my preference would be to have one at the top of second round for sure (Montreal/NYR/Detroit). - LeftCoaster
Montreal has Weber and Petry both looking better then Tanev on the right side. (Petry had a good year).
NYR definitely won't be sitting on there hands. 28 and 48 maybe?
NYI has 41 and 43 and need defence.
Detroit tough sell, their picks are high. |

I like Monument better but Pinnacle is great too, it's like Grayhawk, two great courses. - LeftCoaster

I'd love to see what Benning could do with a Calgary 2nd. |

Trade 41 for Sam Bennett and 43 for Joel Armia. Then trade Granlund and Baertschi for 2nds each
Okay that might be my dream but close enough. |

“Benning sucks at trading so he must trade our best asset immediately when his value is lowest.” Wtf
Everyone wants tanev gone at some point for futures but he still has term so it’s doesnt have to be right away if we aren’t getting offered decent value - CanuckDon
personally i could see him turning a corner on injuries and having another solid 6-7 years
could be our mark methot/dan hamhuis type guy when we're contending |

lol...I wish. Bottom line is Tanev does not make this team a better hockey club. Not when he's playing less than 40 games per year. If he makes 60 games this season it's bye bye time. |

Then Benning should be able to get two seconds and a “B” prospect at the TDL for him |

From Michael James twitter.
Friend of mine proposed this: Trade #1 Baertschi, Granlund, DiPietro, and #7 overall to Carolina for Hanifin and #2 overall. Trade #2 Tanev, and Markstrom to NYI for Bellows and #11 overall. Then grab Svechnikov at #2 and Ty Smith at #11. Thoughts?

hope the full tank is on this year.
Resign: Granlund, Baertschi, Virtanen, Dowd (1 yr deal), Pouliot, Stecher & let the young guys play. Stay away from the expensive FAs unless Tavares. Trade Edler & Hutton for the TDL (will not happen but a guy can dream). Let Juolevi game for one more year before he comes over.
Goldobin Horvat Boeser
Pettersson Sutter Eriksson
Baertschi Granlund Gagner
Leipsic Gaudette Virtanen
HS: Motte - Gaunce - Dowd
Edler Tanev
MDZ Gudbranson
Pouliot Biega
Hutton
Markstrom Nilsson |

Pettersson plays RW not LW, he also isn't going to play in the defensive role with Sutter.
Granlund has been tried at center, it doesn't work.
Virtanen is now better on the Left.
Leipsic played 4th line in Vegas and was limited in scoring. In van given more minutes, his production increased. I doubt it would be smart to put him back on the 4th line with Van's already limited production. |

Id like a line of Virtanen-Gaudette-Leipsic. Could see them pissing alot of people off. |

I'd enjoy seeing a line like that. I guess that would be a 4th line but at the same time i'd prefer if they played 15 minutes a game. A 3rd line but Van's 4th checking line plays too much. |

I laughed but, did find it amusing that the person always saying trade down for NYI 11 & 12 picks was laughing at someones unrealistic trade proposals. |

I laugh at my own trades. I don't always say trade down. I trade down if certain scenario's happen.
I've also never traded for 11 & 12. |
