Meh. Life is tough.
“hey Brandon. We just were awarded a once in a life opportunity...no offense, but we are bringing in a guy to mentor a cornerstone future superstar...the goal is to get him there sooner than normal. Now go make us force a trade...that is your sole goal in the next 3 months.” - IonSabres
Why can't Housley be his mentor instead? |

I don't agree with this. Bad faith written all over it, the organization already has a stinky reputation |

Funny how Gerbe and I were mentioning this before we even won the lottery and some of the posters here gave us the gears about moving Scandella if we were to get Dahlin - Pegullaville
the troubling thing
1. botts traded for scandella
2. they say they like mccabe
3. guhle
4. dahlin
5. they still sign pilut after getting dahlin
6. he did trade for beaulieu
mixed signals across the board and they only need 4, 5 at the most and that 5th is a certain press box warmer |

What do you think it tastes like?
I asked my buddy who is a sous chef what he thinks about it. He likes it and says it tastes like "the ocean." His boss said it's a bullpoop herb |

Honest question, did the Sabres have their top 6 D healthy for a single game last season?
Guhle will get plenty of time, even if his waiver status puts him in Rochester to start the season. |

don't get me started
someone last night suggested keeping skunk on the second line to keep the cost down
right after the discussion that eichel needs a kunitz type player
reinhart got 25 goals at 22 years old, kunitz didn't pop 25 in a season until he was 26
we could have a center/winger combo for the next 12 years with these 2, let them make plays
and if you put casey on the other wing
oh nelly |

pilut, guhle
one of them starts the season with the big club IMO and is on the ice opening night |

Nah, was sick for 3 weeks, lung infection...still not 100%.
Staying way from that poop for a bit longer.
But, I did put my order in. |

Skunk did win me over with his last 38 games...short-term bridge deal at 2x$4.5 ... get him hungry again for awhile til it becomes “ muscle memory” automatic. |

I mean another wildcard in this scenario is if Dahlin does play on the right side due to lack of depth.
Scandella-Risto
McCabe-Dahlin
Guhle-Bogo
Pilut-Nelson
There is a scenario where both Scandella and McCabe return. |

I think pilut or guhle plays in rochester instead of sitting on the bench and maybe falk comes back to be the bench warmer if the beaulieu train leaves the station
it will be interesting to see how it shakes out |

I think Housley can accomplish all of this from the bench. He understands Dahlin from a draft position and stylistically and Buffalo-wise probably better than literally anyone in the world |

the nose on it does have a faint seaweed-like quality to it...I think it adds depth and aromatics, similar to bitters...too much will be overpowering in medicinal sense while just the right amount seems to round out the flavors...
I've done something as simple as chicken noodle soup with and without bay leaves and, imo, it's much better with...
of note: I'm not a chef nor have I ever cooked for a living, but I do enjoy indulging in the culinary arts at home |

I think I laid out why they'd consider doing that. Nothing against Nelson, but he's hardly the guy you'd pick to mentor Dahlin. Frankly, I'm not sure Risto is either. Maybe they are thinking Bogo or McCabe. I just think this is something they are considering carefully. - Lunaion
He can teach him how to take care of his body to play half the game and not break down. |

Honesty some fans hold on hope for these players way to long and then boom trade value is gone
If a team is going to pay a nice package you take it
For example the hall trade im sure half the fanbase never wanted to trade to trade Ristolainen for hall but now 99% would we overrated him so bad - gerbe75pts
Yeah, because the fans are the ones that make the deals...

I think he’s paired with Nelson or Bogosian. I think Bogo can actually be a good partner due to # of games played in the league and helping him transition into the league as a top pick in a draft class and all the attention that comes with it. - Pegullaville
I agree with almost all of your posts.
To rely on bogo in any way is a stretch. |
