it's going to cost so much more than anyone would want to give up, you'd be buying way above his actual worth at 32 years old because he had a career year.

That and we're not even sure he'd accept a trade here.

Id say Guhle has done enough to earn a 3rd pair role next year. Scandella, McCabe and Beaulieu are the only ones who have more or less hit their ceilings and Id say mccabe is the best of that bunch in terms of value to the team

Yeah, I think Guhle should definitely be on the team, he's still only 20 somehow, it feels like he should be like 24.

I hate "giving up" on McCabe, he's still a relatively young 24, and even if this is it, you can never have enough, cheap, legit everyday NHL D-men.

I'd leave Guhle and Nelson up all year to see what's what and then make moves accordingly next year, or even TDL if they can get take advantage of someone who's lost his mind.
