Yes, but I think he'd want a guaranteed ELC.

he had 36 goals and 46 assists, after not getting a contract from the Flyers the kid didnt dwell on it, he went out and had a real good season.

Tyler Johnson's no trade clause kicks in July 1 and he signed for 5 mil thru 2023-2024, shix writing that is just crazy...

Would you trade for him?

Tampa has a lot of RFA and FA's coming up in the next few season's, apparently they have the prospects where they could move a Johnson.

The Flyers could use a Johnson to put pressure on the other teams back end.

Nah, that's too much. I mean, he's good, but not good enough for that hit/term.

That's funny you mention Millwood. I was at the no hitter he pitched against the Phils in 2003.

Rich mans Jordan Weal. Johnson brings speed, skill and self confidence...

On another note, now that Hextall has the franchise on solid ground, I do think more players, whether FA's or trade will want to play for Philly,

Exactly. That's why I had no issue with the Weal contract. Low risk high reward.

Not sure if this has been mentioned, but I’m seeing articles mentioning the Salary Cap could rise to 80M (5M more); does this change anyone’s thoughts on trading or keeping Simmonds? Or even pursuring impact FA(s)?

I would love to have him back at 4 years 5.5aav(6 max). After reading his injury list and still potting 24 goals I think he will have a bounceback year and continue to produce for that long.

Anything more than 4 years or 6 aav I would think about moving him.
