But you could have went from the Duck Pond to the Wolfe Pack
And I know other teams used Randy as a reliever. |

Tyler Johnson's no trade clause kicks in July 1 and he signed for 5 mil thru 2023-2024, shix writing that is just crazy...
Would you trade for him?
Tampa has a lot of RFA and FA's coming up in the next few season's, apparently they have the prospects where they could move a Johnson. - wcorvette
No thanks.

I mean...still better than half the bottom 6 guys we have now. What's your beef? Might force Lehtera to the press box and he does kill penalties |

My beef is with all the cap space we finally have, the LAST thing I want to see Ron do is take another 4th line guy. Guess I got tired of all the crap (Wiess, Gordon, Lubymov, Medvedev, Odouya, etc...) Now there was little cap space to work with in those instances, but not now. And we need a 3rd line center to help score, or a 2nd pairing RHD.
Leave the bottom six to the young guys to earn their spot, especially a LW. |

You're either paying out the ass for Carlson or some not that great forward who will command 50% than they should (because that's how UFA works) or you can try to upgrade the bottom 6 and PK on the cheap while saving future money for Provorov and Patrick's blank checks *shrugs* |

That what all this drafting has been for. Look at the team with long stretches of success in the league. More often then not these guys put themselves into position where they can call up guys from within on the fly and not get stuck throwing value cap space away on the likes of guys you mentioned. |

Looking at this draft I'm hard pressed to see how BPA at 19 isn't going to be a D man. It just seems like there's going to be a wealth of them there. Maybe a forward falls out of the top 15 but for the most part I think it's going to be really tough to pass on a D man there with the way this draft class is shaping up.
I actually really like Samuelsson's kid. Just seems like a solid all around D prospect. Might be able to move back a few spots from 19 and grab and him and maybe an extra 2nd. |
