pretty sure o regan is in the same boat - homiedclown
I haven’t heard that yet,
but I’ll check it out
EDIT
-according to CapFriendly, O’Regan can still be sent down without having to clear waivers
Besides Bailey & Baptiste, Ullmark & Nelson would also have to clear.
As would Falk & Fedun, but they’re depth guys anyways
And all the scrub forwards would have to clear- Porter, Criscuolo, etc- but who cares if we lose any of them |

I definitely Agree with you here.
The only possible problem I see is that Housley needs to give these kids a chance to play and succeed in roles they are better suited for and not 4th line duty barely playing at all (Perfect example is William Karlson: CBJ played on 3rd/4th line which restricted him from what he is better suited for, something Vegas Rectified once he started playing for them, and we all know how that turned out).
Guys like Babtiste and Smith need to be playing in the top six on a regular basis to see if they can hack it in a more offensive role. Same with Oloffson, once he gets a chance they need to put him right on Eichel's wing. The guy is a sniper, you put him on the bottom six and you are wasting his talent and preventing him from succeeding because he is an offensive player not defensive so we will see him in bottom six and think he sux but in top six there is a greater possibility that he can do the opposite. |

Jake wise will be there in the 2nd
If we get another late first you take Kravtsov he could be the Kuznetsov , Tarasenko in this draft meaning how did they not go top 10 |

Looks like O'Regan has one more season of waiver exemption according to Cap-friendly

Draftsite has Wise landing in the late third round early fourth in some versions, It's interesting to compare these two sites a guy one site has high may be low on the other site. Case in point Jake Wise MyNHLdraft has him going 30OA but 3rd round on DraftSite:

Well Bailey & Baptiste are either up here or on someone else’s roster
I doubt they clear waivers
Not sure if Fasching needs to clear waivers or not
Hopefully not, bc a healthy season in Rochester could be what he needs to get back on track - jdfitz77
A ton of guys clear waivers on the final day of camp, and claims are rare. Not saying I'd take the risk (I'd trade one of them), but there's a decent chance they'd clear. They both need a big camp. |

Of that list of forwards, only Nylander projects as top 6. Plenty of opportunity for whoever makes the team and plays on the third line. It should be a battle this year.

I’d just be worried that a team like ARZ or EDM or VAN, etc would claim them
We claimed Nolan last year
So it does happen
I’d either keep them here or try to trade them in a package
I wouldn’t mind seeing a 3rd line of

Rochester lines could look something like:
Smith-Malone-O’Regan
Nylander-Asplund-Olofsson
Fasching-Oglevie-Pu
Criscuolo-Porter-Griffith(re-sign for ahl)
Blackwell(ahl contract)
Gill(ahl contract)
Cornel
Glotov
*probably a few more ahl contracts get signed |
