Kevin Porter's rights for Armia - homiedclown
All these trades and we haven't acquired even one of the Varones. Count me as disappointed. |

I totally get it. Gerbe’s “plan” is to Shyster every other GM in a series of lopsided trades he wins in a landslide?
I hope he has a plan B if that strategy doesnt work out. - Larsson_fan
Didn't you hear? We got Dahlin.
F plan B. Yo mama should've used plan b.
Yeah Gerbs takes it a bit too far on the trades sometimes, but it keeps things lively. So Jack for McDavid and (2) 2nds to you, sir! |

Thanks, I do have fun with it, but I mostly just try and engage some discussion. People can get upset if they like. The best is when someone responds to my criticism with one of many of the Oilers fumbles, like its relevant at all. - Larsson_fan
I’ve seen you go harder on the Oil than the Sabes. |

Yeah well...ya know...like....Edmonton...for real....I can't even. - gcomella34
Haha, neither can I!!!
It’s an unmittigated disaster anyway you look at it. The team over achieved 2 seasons ago and our dippoop manager assumed the players were all going to improve and he rested on his laurels, not bothering to replace Eberle or Sekeras ( knowing full weel he would miss half a season) and not expecting any mid season injuries ( Draisaitle, Nuge, Klefbom), Illness (McDavid), personal problems ( Larsson, Talbot) or plain old regression ( Lucic). I think, realistically, expecting a season free of any issues is stupid and unless we have one we are at best a bubble team. |

Very interesting comments from David Quinn, Rangers new coach...
"In order to win games, you have to hold each other accountable, whether it's your best and older players holding the younger guys accountable, but your younger guys should quietly be holding the older guys accountable as well. Everyone is on the team to win one thing, and we all know what that is.”
There is that word again, amazing how irrelevant it is.
Players holding each other accountable.

Question for you boys out there.
If we use the average of the top 2 teams from each Division of roughly 260 goals for during the season as the objective for a team to hit, does the following breakdown by line seem appropriate:
- 1st line. 85
- 2nd line 63
- 3rd line 45
- 4th line. 30
- 1st pair. 22
- 2nd pair. 10
- 3rd pair. 5 |

Seems pretty decent. Maybe a few less (20 or so total) for the 4th line spread out everywhere else. |

Seems reasonable. I think you're a touch heavy on the first pair, and maybe a bit light on the third |

I guess I baked some PP goals into the 1st lines and 1st pairings.
I don’t disagree with you...was just trying to get in the right ball park and section...not necessarily the right seats. |

I think you’re a tad light on the return. Varone and a grilled cheese seems fair. |
