I'm not buying into the whole "rigged" idea, buuuuuut after watching the jets series it does get a little tired watching officials making what appear to be one-sided calls (eg: Burakovsky and not Reaves), get in the way of a least 4 Cap puck movements without much attempt to get out of the way but then nearly split a groin evading a Knights clearing pass, and then just ignoring the rule book on Perron coming off the bench. Check out rules 70.1 and 70.10.

It should count because every goal counts when a ref just flat out blows a penalty calls like this. I think we all agree that there is more physicality in front of the net than in other areas within this sport but that doesn’t mean penalties are never called. This is a totally blatant penalty and the actions resulted in a goal that clearly would not of taken place along with what should’ve been a power-play awarded to Washington. If you watch this Vegas team they play a very fast-paced physical type checking game but they get away with so many borderline penalties. Not to take anything away from the players because they play harder than any of the other 30 teams in this league.

I have to agree with Milbury here in that the linesmen had no business consulting on a minor penalty that the refs missed on Wilson. Reaves should have been given a 2 minute penalty as well and no goal allowed. Officiating standards need to be consistent and they haven't been this year
